Over the last three days, Uganda has been at the center of high-level dialogue and collaboration as it hosted the 4th Uganda–UAE Business Forum 2025, a premier platform designed to strengthen trade, investment, and tourism relations between the two nations.
The forum brought together government leaders, investors, private sector players, and development partners to identify and explore new opportunities across key sectors such as tourism, agriculture, energy, real estate, manufacturing, and technology.
Delegates from both countries engaged in insightful discussions on policy, innovation, and partnership models to drive inclusive growth and sustainable development. The event underscored Uganda’s strategic position as a gateway for investment in the East African region and reaffirmed the UAE’s growing interest in expanding its economic footprint in Africa.
Ahead of the main sessions, participants took part in sector-based experiential visits to some of Uganda’s most iconic sites — including the Kasubi Tombs, the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) in Entebbe, and Gorilla Conservation Coffee. These visits offered delegates a firsthand look at Uganda’s rich cultural heritage, conservation excellence, and community-driven tourism initiatives.
The immersive experiences showcased Uganda’s potential as a vibrant tourism destination and a reliable partner in sustainable investment. As the curtains close on this year’s edition, both Uganda and the UAE have expressed optimism for stronger bilateral cooperation and continued engagement ahead of the next forum, which will be hosted in the United Arab Emirates in 2026.
