Uganda has successfully concluded the three-day 4th Uganda–UAE Business Forum, held under the theme “Unlocking Opportunities, Building Bridges through Trade and Investment.” The high-level event brought together business leaders, investors, and policymakers from both nations to explore partnerships in trade, tourism, and sustainable development.

As part of the forum’s activities, a Tourism and Development experiential visit was organized to some of Uganda’s most iconic sites — the Kasubi Tombs, Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC), and Gorilla Conservation Coffee. The visits offered participants a firsthand experience of Uganda’s rich cultural heritage, conservation excellence, and community-driven tourism initiatives.

According to organizers, the tour aimed to demonstrate how tourism in Uganda is intertwined with cultural preservation, wildlife protection, and community empowerment — key pillars of the country’s development agenda.

The Uganda–UAE Business Forum has grown into a vital platform for fostering bilateral trade and investment. The next edition of the forum will be held in the United Arab Emirates in 2026, reaffirming the two nations’ shared commitment to strengthening economic cooperation and promoting mutual growth through innovation, enterprise, and sustainable partnerships.
