Nestled in the western arm of Uganda’s Great Rift Valley, Queen Elizabeth National Park is the country’s most visited and ecologically diverse safari destination. Established in 1952 as Kazinga National Park and renamed in 1954 in honor of Queen Elizabeth II’s visit, it remains one of Africa’s premier wildlife sanctuaries. Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to the Pearl of Africa
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly received by our company representative.
Transfer to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for relaxation.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a short tour of Entebbe’s attractions such as the Botanical Gardens or Lake Victoria shores.

Day 2: Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, set off for the scenic drive to western Uganda. The journey offers panoramic views of rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural life.
Stop at the Equator line monument in Kayabwe for photos and experiments.
Continue through Fort Portal and have lunch en route.
Arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park by evening and check in at your lodge.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Start the day with an early morning game drive through the Kaseni Plains and Mweya Peninsula, spotting elephants, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, and warthogs.
Return for breakfast and relaxation at the lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll see hundreds of hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife.

Day 4: Exploring the Ishasha Sector – Tree-Climbing Lions
After breakfast, drive to the southern Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions.

Spot topis, buffaloes, and elephants along the open savannah.
Relax at your lodge overlooking the Ishasha plains.

Day 5: Community and Cultural Experience
Today, immerse yourself in the local culture surrounding Queen Elizabeth National Park.

In the evening, unwind with a nature walk or sundowner by the lodge.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge

Afternoon relaxation at the lodge or optional birding excursion.

Day 7: Explosion Crater Drive & Scenic Photography

Visit Lake Katwe Salt Mines, where locals still practice traditional salt extraction.
Return to the lodge and enjoy your final evening with a campfire dinner.

Day 8: Return to Kampala / Entebbe – Departure
